stalking charges. one of the officers was patrolling the park near goodhope road. >> he was flagged down by a woman in a car. this woman stated somebody in another car was harassing and stalking her. >> reporter: after he interviewed the woman he then approached marion barry. >> the best way to describe barry is betrade. >> he has ended his friendship and support through her many stages of inability. >> reporter: barry was pulled over for alleged traffic violations and has been on probation on income tax charges. >> i had several calls today and the biggest thing they are saying right off the bat is he

was arrested again. >> reporter: ward 8 commissioner saying she has volunteered for him and ran against him. >> i don't think he would actually stalk women but he goes after them. he is very attracted to women and he will make it known if he is interested. >> reporter: the accuser would not consent to an interview on camera but she said she did not flag down on officer and did not press the charges herself. she says barry cut her off and was stopped by police for that traffic violation. told barry feels betrade. "i'm sorry he felt that way and i will respond. there will be tons of evidence to prove him wrong." expect that statement within 48 hours. a barry conference and a court appear on on thursday. >> you can stay here on 9news

now for the latest. congressional country club today. fireworks rivaled those there at the mall last night. at&t national hosted by tiger woods was full of drama and excitement. sara walsh is live there now. >> reporter: tiger woods has hoisted many trophies in his career but the one he wanted this week was his own and considering he began the final round of the tournament taking it away would be all but impossible. to the fourth and final round it took tiger six holes to launch his first birdie of the day. this was it and put him in the lead. anthony kim struggled to keep up. the birdie would bring him back to where he started. 10 under but that was two strokes off the lead. his ninth birdie of the way. tying a course record of 62. he would have to find out where

back to you in the studio. >> thank you, sara. steve mcnair was shot four times saturday. his 20-year-old girlfriend was found dead by his side shot once in the head. the pistol was found under the woman's body. they say married steve mcnair had been in a relationship with the woman. they cannot confirm that the former baltimore ravens player died as the result of a murder suicide. >> balistics testing is being conducted. i can tell you from the information we have at present the evidence at the scene is consistent with the gun that was recovered. >> steve mcnair is survived by his wife michele and four children. funeral arrangements have not been announced yet. two people are dead following a house fire in upper

marlbro. >> reporter: firefighters arrived on the scene just before midnight but they couldn't search the home because the flames were too intense. >> reporter: fire broke out in this home. i spoke to prince george's county fire and ems by phone. >> they indicated they had heavy fire showing from the first floor and through the roof area of thehouse and quickly determined that it was unsafe to enter the house at that point. >> reporter: then a portion. roof collapsed. it took firefighters nearly an hour to extinguish the blaze. that's when firefighters found two bodies. >> one body of an adult male was found in the basement level of the house. another body of an unidentified individual was found in the first floor area. >> reporter: brady says one of the bodies was burned so badly they will need to rely on results from an autopsy for identification. as to what caused the fire. >> if we do find it,

investigators are keeping that pretty close to the vest. >> reporter: the damage to the home is estimated to cost $300,000 and brady says it will take a few days before results from the autopsy are complete. >> lindsey, thank you. two monorail trains crashed at disneyland this morning killing one of the train's operators. the crash happened around 2:00 a.m. this morning in the magic kingdom in orlando, florida. the 21-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. the driver of the other train was unhurt but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. five park guests were also treated on the scene for minor injuries. thousands of park guests use the monorail system to get around the disney theme park but tonight it remains closed until investigators can determine what caused this deadly accident. still ahead on 9news now scary moments for dozens on a collapsing bridge at a 4th of

600 block of 46 place in the bening ridge neighborhood. one man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. three others suffered nonlife threatening injuries including the 10-year-old girl. police are looking into a possible fifth victim who arrived in the hospital on her own. an update now on that explosion you first saw on 9news now that nearly leveled a house in north west washington last night. fire officials now say that the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak. you're now looking at video from dc fire and ems. the explosion at 6120 oregon avenue caused more than $1 million in damage. the owner of the house was away on vacation and no one was hurt. a bridge collapsed during july 4th celebrations plunging 80 people into the lake and sending 16 of them to the hospital. witnesses say the wooden suspension bridge was crammed with spectators leaving a fireworks display. about 45 miles southeast of chicago.

town officials say there were just too many people on that bridge. >> the reason we have police officers stationed there is because we know the capacity is limited. we know it wasn't designed for anything near 100 people. it is designed to hold approximately 40 people. the bridge was inspected and totally redone slightly over a year ago. >> we are told a number of people had to be pulled from the water by dive teams. none of the injuries are said to be life threatening. fans waiting to see if they will be one of the lucky few to be part of michael jackson's memorial service. a random drawing of 8750 names to win a pair of ticket to tuesday's memorial center in los angeles. another 6500 people will be able to watch the service simulcast at the nokia theater

>> stayed nice and cool at congressional. nice day to play golf. >> perfect. >> cloudy skies and no rain. normal highs in the upper 80s. 68, 69 degrees this time of year is a difficult thing to do. let's take a look at three-day trends and see what is happening over the next couple days. if you like summer weather i have something at the tail end of the forecast. next couple of days we will make it at least back into the low 80s. for the rest of the tonight partly cloudy skies. still a chance for showers. low temperatures will hold just about where they are right now. they are not going to drop off too much as we go into tomorrow morning and then during the day monday putting a 30% chance for a shower in the forecast. most of the day will be dry just like today. the high temperatures between 80 and 85. sunrise tomorrow morning at 5:49. live doppler 9000 we can pick up showers in maryland and northern virginia. there was a little bit of sunshine that broke through the

clouds today. northern suburbs a little peek of sun. wider view on the radar. most of the rain did miss us to the south. some rain around norfolk and virginia beach. all pushing offshore. still a couple of disturbances in the atmosphere so we will keep that slight chance for a shower in the forecast tonight. 69 degrees right now at national airport with a comfort dew point of 59. relative humidity of 73%. some folks didn't make it out of the 60s. still there. 66 at fredericksburg. 64 at the naval station. then again with the sunshine up north it is warmer. 77 in haggerstown. there is a little disturbance here in the great lakes. kind of hard to see on the satellite that we are watching that will sweep through during the day tomorrow. and that will be the trends on monday and tuesday. we will keep the jet stream down to the south. little disturbances will come by to keep the temperatures below normal and give us that slight chance for a little

welcome back to congressional for the third annual at&t national is in the books and once again tiger woods has written another

chapter in his storied career. while the crowds as they have all week came out to see tiger, the real golfer to watch was someone that was in the clubhouse nearly two hours before woods. this is who everyone thought the showdown was going to be between. tiger woods and anthony kim. kim would get the better start. on the first this is kim's approach and he would stick it. draws back nicely. tapping in for a birdie. 11 under. wouldn't last with him in the lead though. tiger putting on the 6th from 14 feet out. first birdie of the day. he had two birdies through the front nine. the round belonged to hunter mayhan. tying the course record at 62. this is how it unfolded. tiger woods starting the back nine with a bird up. 13 under and on 18 tapping in for the win. his 68th career victory. >> this is a dream that he and
